Meriggiare means ‘to rest in the shade, during the hot hours of the day’.
Agriturismo Meriggiare is a place to relax, enjoy the moment and eachother’s company in a beautiful place in Italy. You sleep in a spacious safari tent, with all the comforts of home. And at the same time you’re surrounded by nature, enjoying the view and the peaceful surroundings.
With this as starting point you can explore the area. You can choose to do something active, such as cycling, hiking, or horseback riding. Or you can choose to take it easy, lie by the pool, read a book in a hammock, or enjoy a delicious lunch in a neighboring village.
Meriggiare is located near the village of Mombarcaro, also called the ‘vetta della Langhe’ or the ‘top of the Langhe’, because the village is the highest situated village in the area. From here you have a panoramic view from the Maritime Alps up to Monte Rosa. On a clear day you can even see the Ligurian sea from Mombarcaro. From agriturismo Meriggiare you also have a beautiful view over the valley and on a clear day of the Alps.
Your hosts at agriturismo Meriggiare are a Dutch family, Jeroen and Kim with their children Izzy en Okke. After the decision to move to Piedmont, things happened pretty quickly. We found our home in july 2018, bought it in february 2019 and in april 2019 we lived here. Since then, together with our children and a few animals, we have been building our new life and agriturismo.
